NYC's EDM community discovery platform

Know what'shappeningin the scene.

Rippit is where NYC's electronic music community discovers, discusses, and decides on events together. Find your scene, get personalized recommendations, and read honest reviews from the people who were actually on the dance floor.

The problem

Too many shows.Too much FOMO.Not enough context.

Choosing a night out shouldn't feel like a guessing game. The signals you need are scattered across stories, group chats, and random threads. Generic listings tell you when something is happening, not if it's right for you.

Rippit puts it all in one place.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Everything you need to know about finding and reviewing EDM events in New York with Rippit.

Do you sell paid placement or promoted events?

No. Nobody gets special paid placement, no exceptions. The best way to find the right event for you is through honest insight from the community, so every pick, ranking and review you see is there because people in the scene put it there, not because someone bought a spot. That's how we keep Rippit credible and a place you can rely on to decide where to go.

What is Rippit?

Rippit is a community app for discovering EDM and electronic music events in New York City. Fans use it to find the events that match their unique taste, read first-hand reviews of past events, artists, venues and organizers from the people who were actually there, and see where their friends are going.

How do I find EDM events in NYC this weekend?

Open Discover in the Rippit app or at rippit.nyc and filter by date, genre, borough, venue type or price. Every listing shows the lineup, the venue and community ratings, so you can compare nights before you buy a ticket.

Are Rippit reviews written by real attendees?

Reviews come from fans after the night, not from promoters. Reviewers can verify their attendance with a ticket or a photo from the event, and verified reviews carry a badge.

Can I rate a DJ?

Reviews, yes. Ratings, no. Music is personal, and reducing an artist to a public score doesn't feel right. Instead you can react to their set with “Loved it”, “Liked it” or “Not for me”, alongside your thoughts on the experience and what stood out.

Is Rippit available on iPhone?

Yes. The Rippit iOS app is free on the App Store. You can also browse events, venues and artists on the web at rippit.nyc.

What kinds of events are on Rippit?

Electronic music across New York City: techno, house, drum & bass, trance, warehouse parties and afters, from big clubs to underground rooms in Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan.
