A-Trak is a Montreal-born, New York-based DJ and producer who broke through as the youngest DMC World DJ Champion at age fifteen and went on to serve as Kanye West's touring DJ. He founded the influential label Fool's Gold Records and, alongside Armand Van Helden, formed the duo Duck Sauce behind the global hit Barbra Streisand. His sets move fluidly between open-format turntablism, house, and hip hop, built around the scratch technique that made his name. He has played Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Boiler Room, and created the Goldie Awards DJ competition to spotlight turntable craft. Decades into his career, he remains a defining figure in American DJ culture, equally at home in a club booth or on a festival main stage.
