ACRAZE is one of the cleaner examples of a DJ who caught a huge crossover moment without feeling like a total accident. Before “Do It To It” blew up, he was coming from a much heavier bass background, and part of what made his rise interesting is how naturally he pivoted that energy into house. You can still hear that background in the way his records hit. Even when he is making tech house, there is a blunt-force, high-impact quality to it that feels more aggressive and immediate than a lot of sleeker club-house producers.
