Adam Baker, known professionally as Adred, is a drum and bass producer and DJ based in New York City. He first established his presence in the local circuit as a promoter in 2008, eventually founding the prominent Natural Selection event series in 2011. Transitioning his focus to production, Adred developed a soulful, introspective sound, securing releases on foundational drum and bass imprints. He released his debut album "Kim" on Metalheadz in 2020, followed by the collaborative project "Tempo Rubato" on Inperspective Records in 2023. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with vocalists and producers like Robert Manos, Commix, and Dom & Roland. Adred continues to perform at key underground venues such as Paragon in Brooklyn, delivering deep, atmospheric sets that balance heavy breakbeats with emotive textures.
