Adrian Garrison Williams operates under the moniker Adriatic, producing a distinct blend of alternative hip-hop, downtempo electronic, and neo-soul. Raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and currently based in New York City, he has been active in the underground beat-making scene since the late 2000s. Adriatic established his sound through early work with bands like Pseudoubt and Origami Bones before founding Automatic Records in 2019. That same year, he released the collaborative album "In Motion" alongside Los Angeles underground rap legend Myka 9, adding to a performance history that includes a residency at the groove scenario showcase and an early appearance at Soundset Music Festival. His catalog also features the 2021 "Falkenfeder" EP with Tecah One and the 2023 "Mars Took Over EP" with Mimo. His production style consistently merges sample-heavy hip-hop rhythms with atmospheric electronic textures.
