Anastasia Kristensen is a Copenhagen-based DJ and producer whose dance-oriented, avant-garde sets have set her apart in contemporary club music. A self-described Detroit techno aficionado, she threads techno through breakbeat, electro, and IDM, gathering off-grid electronics into adventurous, unpredictable mixes. She has performed at Boiler Room, Time Warp, and the experimental UNSOUND and CTM festivals, and hosts annual all-nighters at Den Anden Side, the main underground venue in her hometown of Copenhagen. In 2023 she founded the label absorb emit to release textured, experimental dance music from forward-thinking artists, and she has run her own seasons on NTS Radio. Her releases span Turbo Recordings, Houndstooth, and Arcola, with a debut album, Bestiarium Sombre, due in 2026.
