Arushi Jain is a New Delhi born composer, vocalist, and modular synthesist currently based in Brooklyn. Her practice bridges centuries old Hindustani classical ragas with contemporary electronic sound design, utilizing modular synthesis to create immersive, textural soundscapes. Signature releases include the acclaimed Under the Lilac Sky (2021, Leaving Records) and the 2024 album Delight (Leaving Records), both of which explore the intersection of traditional Indian vocal motifs and experimental electronic production. She has performed at festivals such as CTM, Unsound, and Roskilde, and maintains residencies at NTS Radio and boxout.fm.
