Bassvictim is a London electronic duo formed in 2022 by Polish-English vocalist Maria Manow and American-English producer Ike Clateman. They call their sound basspunk, a blown-out blend of electroclash, hyperpop, witch house, and hard-edged club music built on gritty beats and feverish vocals. The pair broke through with the 2025 release Forever, which earned major-label distribution, and followed it with the album basspunk 2. They came up through London's DIY party circuit, inventing their own night when they could not find one that suited their sound. Bassvictim tours North America and Europe with a live show built on high-energy, bass-heavy chaos.
