Based in Brooklyn, New York, Ben Zo is a versatile DJ and organizer known for his expansive, genre-fluid approach to electronic music. His sets frequently weave together heady house, celestial techno, dubby downtempo, and ambient textures, often utilizing triple-deck mixing to create immersive, psychedelic soundscapes. He is the founder of the Bushwick-based party series BUSH DÜF, which focuses on cosmic and cathartic techno, and maintains a residency at Newtown Radio where he curates ambient and experimental programming. His selections are characterized by a cinematic evolution that balances esoteric sound design with dance floor accessibility. By harmonizing disparate styles into cohesive, full-bodied blends, he creates a distinct space for both introspection and collective movement in the New York underground scene.
