Hailing from Phoenix, Arizona, Ben Dorman operates under the moniker Bijou and serves as a central figure in the modern G-house and bass house circuits. He established his production footprint with the 2016 breakout single "Hello" alongside Dr. Fresch, later expanding his catalog with tracks like the 2019 collaboration "Kung Fu" and the 2020 Party Favor joint "WHOA." In 2018, he founded Do Not Duplicate Recordings, an imprint dedicated to pushing hip-hop-infused house music and breaking emerging talent. His touring schedule includes performances at major events such as EDC Las Vegas, Shambhala Music Festival, and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Recently, Bijou released his 2024 "Lights Out" EP and the single "Seduction" on his own label. Sonically, his work merges chopped rap vocals with low-octave synths and driving four-on-the-floor rhythms.
