Blue Hour is the alias of British producer and DJ Luke Standing, based in Berlin, Germany. He founded the Blue Hour Music label in 2013 and co-founded positivesource, building a family of imprints known for diverse output; in 2024 the label marked its tenth anniversary with the Omni compilations. His productions and DJ sets draw on the spirit of 1990s club music, blurring acid techno, old-school rave, breakbeat, jungle, and leftfield textures into extended, immersive sets. He has performed at rooms including Berghain, fabric, Robert Johnson, KHIDI, and Shelter, and also records under aliases such as Furesshu and Eachnewhour. As producer, DJ, and label head, Blue Hour remains a respected figure driving the underground techno scene forward.
