Blu:sh is the club-focused alias of Benoit B, a French producer and DJ based in Berlin, Germany. Under the Benoit B name he built a reputation from the mid 2010s for leftfield, balearic-tinged house and downtempo electronica, releasing on labels such as Kalahari Oyster Cult, Wisdom Teeth, Animals Dancing and his own imprint Banlieue Records. The Blu:sh project sharpens that palette toward the dancefloor, moving between electro, breaks and hypnotic house across peak-time and after-hours moods. He also curates ambient and downtempo selections, heard in a recorded mix at Silence Please in New York's Chinatown. His sets favour mood and texture over obvious peaks.
