Born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, Gabriela Salcedo operates under the moniker Briela Veneno, establishing herself as a formidable presence in the industrial and hard techno circuits. Her sound is characterized by clean mixing and a powerful track selection that balances driving industrial force with enveloping, mental textures. Beyond her solo endeavors, she collaborates with producer Sánchez Jr. as the duo Miocardio, debuting their joint production on the Brazilian label Omentalix. Veneno's breakout year in 2023 saw her expand her reach internationally, securing performances in Berlin, Sicily, Santiago de Chile, and Quito. She has since continued to build momentum with notable appearances, including sets for HÖR Berlin and at Sky Stage in Brooklyn.
