Bryan Kasenic is the founder and curator of The Bunker New York, the long-running party, record label and community that has shaped American techno since 2003. He began DJing on Carnegie Mellon's WRCT in 1993 and launched a show on WNYU in 1997 before turning a cult New York City event-listing newsletter into one of the country's most respected underground institutions. As a DJ he connects house, techno and experimental electronic sounds, favoring deep, adventurous programming over peak-time convention. He has held long residencies across New York's club landscape and has booked hundreds of international artists through The Bunker. His sets and curation continue to steer the city's underground forward.
