Psychedelic house and techno weaving industrial beats and tribal percussion

Budino, born Valentina Bodini, is an Italian DJ and producer who has been based in Berlin since 2012. Her sets unfold like psychedelic tapestries, blending industrial beats, tribal percussion, and rich sonic textures drawn from years of deep record digging. She has performed at some of the world's most respected clubs and festivals, including Panorama Bar, Fabric, Basement, Dekmantel Selectors, Houghton, and Horst Festival, and has delivered back to back sets with Tiga and Ivan Smagghe. Beyond the decks she co-founded the label Sonic Dream Recordings, runs her Nothing Special party in Berlin and New York City, and curated the fourth edition of Love International's compilation series. A decade on Berlin's queer dance floors shaped a sound that is both hypnotic and physical, and she has become a recurring presence at New York's Gloria Danger parties. She is also co-authoring a book with Bill Brewster on Italian dance music culture and the art of DJing.
