Burchan Acar is a New York underground DJ whose crates and career reach back to the 1990s. He is a cornerstone of the Faciendo collective, a crew known for assembling some of the most pioneering music diggers around, and is valued for an extensive record collection and the range it gives his sets. Those sets move through house, deep house, dub, techno, deep techno, minimal techno and minimal house, guided by selection rather than spectacle. Recent bookings include the pregame x Golden Record NYC party in East Williamsburg and Sunday sessions alongside fellow selectors. Decades in, he remains a fixture of the city's record-collector dance floors.
