Foundational UK dubstep built on wobbling sub-bass weight and relentless low-end drive
Caspa is the alias of Gary McCann, a West London producer and DJ who helped shape UK dubstep during its late-2000s rise. He runs the Dub Police and Sub Soldiers labels, which released early work from across the London bass scene. His remix of TC's Where's My Money became a defining anthem of the era, and his FabricLive.37 mix alongside Rusko documented the sound at its commercial peak. His debut album Everybody's Talking, Nobody's Listening extended the wobble-heavy style beyond club singles. He continues to tour internationally as a dubstep foundation figure, playing rooms such as fabric in London and Motion in Bristol.
