Cato Anaya is a Colombian DJ, producer, and composer based in Barranquilla who specializes in fusing authentic Latin rhythms with contemporary electronic dance music. He gained international recognition through his 2018 collaboration with Kryder titled La Cumbiambera, released on Kryteria Records, which established his signature sound of percussive, Latin-infused house. His production approach frequently incorporates live instrumentation, such as traditional gaita flutes, to bridge cultural heritage with modern club sensibilities. Anaya maintains a rigorous touring schedule, performing at major global festivals and venues including appearances at the Amsterdam Dance Event. His recent work, such as the 2026 release Una Chica, continues to explore the intersection of nostalgic Latin melodies and current Afro House production.
