CEM, born Cem Dukkha in Vienna, Austria, is a Berlin-based DJ, producer, and co-founder of the influential queer underground party series Herrensauna. His DJ sets are characterized by driving, high-BPM techno, often incorporating breakbeats and an industrial edge, creating an atmosphere of emotive intensity. As a producer, he explores more experimental territories, with releases like the 2023 "Music For Spaces" and the 2025 album "FORMA" showcasing sound art and ambient compositions. CEM's work extends beyond the dancefloor, actively engaging with political and queer community issues, framing rave culture as a site of cultural resistance. He has held residencies at Berlin's Tresor and performed at international festivals including Elevate, Wire, and Solstice. CEM stands out for his uncompromising sound and his commitment to fostering inclusive, hedonistic spaces within the global electronic music landscape.
