Originally from New York and currently based in Maryland, COSTA is a bass music producer and DJ whose sound bridges heavy dubstep with hip-hop influences. He began his career throwing underground shows and producing hip-hop before pivoting to bass music in 2024. COSTA gained early traction through a series of high-impact SoundCloud flips of tracks by artists like Timbaland and Tove Lo, which amassed millions of streams and earned support from established acts such as Excision, Subtronics, and Zeds Dead. In August 2026, he released his debut original single, "You Got Me" featuring Fortune Favor, on Monstercat. His recent touring schedule includes performances at major festivals like Electric Forest, Bonnaroo, and Splash House. By fusing nostalgic pop and hip-hop elements with gritty wobble and robotic textures, COSTA represents a new wave of producers successfully translating internet virality into mainstage festival presence.
