Damian Higgins, known professionally as Dieselboy, is a foundational figure in the North American drum and bass scene. Based in Brooklyn, New York, he gained early prominence through his technical proficiency on three decks and his role in popularizing the genre across the United States. He founded the influential label Human Imprint in 2002, which served as a primary platform for high energy bass music. His discography includes seminal mix compilations such as The 6ixth Session released in 2000 on Palm Pictures and Substance D released in 2008 on Human Imprint. Beyond his production and label work, he remains a dedicated curator of underground bass music, frequently performing at major global festivals and club circuits. His career stands as a testament to the enduring impact of technical DJ craft and the persistent evolution of drum and bass within the broader electronic landscape.
