DJ Neat Freak is the DJ alias of Andrew VanWyngarden, best known as the singer and multi-instrumentalist of the Grammy-nominated psychedelic pop duo MGMT. Behind the decks he trades stadium-sized indie for warm disco, house, and nu-disco selections, threading psychedelic and leftfield curveballs through long, groove-led sets. He has built a recurring Brooklyn residency around the project, holding down late nights at Good Room and Schimanski under a rotating cast of night names including Neat Freaks and Prove It All Night, often joined by fellow selectors and special guests.
