Detroit native Sherard Ingram, known professionally as DJ Stingray 313, is a foundational figure in the evolution of electro and techno. Emerging from the city's underground scene in the late 1980s, he gained early recognition through his Urban Tribe project and his pivotal role as the touring DJ for the legendary duo Drexciya. Now based in Berlin, Germany, he maintains a rigorous touring schedule and operates his own label, Micron Audio, which serves as a platform for his uncompromising, futuristic sound.
