Michael Babatunde Adeyinka, known as DJ Tunez, is a Nigerian-American DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. As the official DJ for Starboy Entertainment, he has been a central figure in the global expansion of Afrobeats, blending the genre with Afro house and Amapiano rhythms. His production catalog includes crossover tracks like the 2016 Wande Coal collaboration "Iskaba" and the 2020 hit "PAMI" featuring Wizkid, Adekunle Gold, and Omah Lay. Beyond his studio work, he is the founder of the Blackout concert series and has performed at large-scale venues including Madison Square Garden, the O2 Arena, and Boiler Room. Recently, he released the collaborative project "SOUTH GIDI" alongside DJ Maphorisa and Wizkid in 2025, followed by the 2026 single "STINGY." By bridging the African diaspora with international club circuits, DJ Tunez operates as a conduit for the ongoing integration of African dance music into the global mainstream.
