emkay, also known as Maria Korkeila, is a Finnish DJ, producer and vocalist based between Helsinki and Paris. Her sound traces the sensual edges of house, progressive and breaks, laced with dub and downtempo textures and a femme-forward, playful energy. She performs as one third of the downtempo trip-pop project Trickpony alongside Roza Terenzi and Mike Midnight, and has appeared at Finland's Solstice Festival. Beyond music she works as a fashion and textile designer. Her sets balance a bright, bouncy pulse with deeper, more intimate undercurrents.
