Born in Bournemouth and long associated with the London electronic circuit, Flava D is a producer and DJ who navigates the intersections of grime, UK garage, and drum and bass. She gained early recognition through the Butterz label, where she refined a signature sound defined by crisp percussion, shuffling rhythms, and melodic basslines. Her discography includes the seminal 2013 release Hold On, the 2015 debut album More Love, and the 2025 drum and bass project Here and Now on Hospital Records. As a member of the collaborative trio TQD alongside Royal-T and DJ Q, she has further shaped the landscape of UK bass music. She has held residencies at London venues like XOYO and performed at major festivals including Tomorrowland and Shambhala. Flava D remains a vital figure in the scene for her technical versatility and her ability to bridge the gap between underground grime roots and high-energy drum and bass.
