Marc Anthony Veira, known as Flowdan, is a pioneering MC and vocalist from Bow, East London. Emerging from the early jungle and UK garage circuits, he became a founding member of the influential grime collective Roll Deep. His deep, commanding vocal delivery and patois infused cadence quickly made him a defining voice in British bass music, highlighted by his 2007 dubstep anthem "Skeng" alongside The Bug on Hyperdub. In recent years, he has bridged the gap between underground soundsystem culture and global electronic music by collaborating with producers across drum and bass, dubstep, and techno. This stylistic evolution culminated in a 2024 Grammy win for "Rumble," his massive collaboration with Skrillex and Fred again.., as well as the hit single "Baddadan" with Chase & Status and Bou. Today, Flowdan stands as a certified cult figure whose unmistakable presence continues to anchor the heaviest tracks in modern dance music.
