Brooklyn based duo Latane Hughes and Billy Scher formed Fundido in 2016, evolving from local party starters into a production outfit known for their synthesis of balearic beat, classic house, and indie dance. After a decade spent curating annual edits compilations and holding residencies at venues like Good Room, the pair began releasing original material in 2026 with the assistance of producer Miles Felix. Their sound balances four on the floor propulsion with cosmic synth textures and vocal driven hooks, as evidenced by signature releases like the 2026 single Get A Grip on DFA Records and the Drops Of Time EP on Boyanza Records. The duo maintains a philosophy of creative inclusivity, often collaborating with a wide network of friends and emerging artists to foster community within the New York scene.
