Funk Tribu is a Colombian DJ and producer from Bogota who has become one of the defining voices of trance-techno, the hard-grooving, rave-leaning strain of techno sweeping European festivals. Building around punchy, acid-tinged grooves and euphoric main-floor energy, his productions on Speedmaster Records and beyond turned tracks like Phonky Tribu into festival staples. Since breaking through he has played Tomorrowland, Awakenings, DGTL and Boiler Room, along with a widely shared HOR Berlin session. His sets pair relentless drive with a melodic, hands-in-the-air payoff that translates from warehouse to open-air stage. Few artists have risen as fast in contemporary techno, making his RUSH debut at Knockdown Center a marquee booking.
