Gabber Eleganza is the multidisciplinary project of Italian artist and DJ Alberto Guerrini, who is currently based in Berlin. Initially launched in 2011 as a digital archive to document the hardcore continuum and post-rave aesthetics, the project has evolved into a multifaceted platform encompassing music production, independent publishing, and fashion. Guerrini is widely recognized for his Hakke Show, a high-energy live performance featuring traditional gabber dancers that bridges the gap between 1990s hardcore and contemporary club culture. His label, Never Sleep, serves as a primary outlet for his releases and a hub for championing emerging artists within the rave spectrum. By recontextualizing the raw, aggressive energy of early hardcore through a modern lens, he has become a pivotal figure in the global reassessment of rave subcultures. His work stands out for its ability to treat hardcore not merely as a nostalgic relic, but as a living, evolving aesthetic that remains deeply relevant to contemporary dance floors.
