Driving melodic techno from Italy with peak-time punch.

GENESI is part of the newer Italian melodic house and techno wave, but his records land because they carry more punch and immediacy than a lot of the more generic melodic material in that lane. The project, led by Italy’s Alberto Croce, blends underground house instincts with melodic techno tension, giving the music a polished, peak-time quality without completely sanding off the club energy underneath. His breakout came through “Everything You Have Done,” a massive collaboration with MEDUZA that hit No. 1 on Beatport and became the kind of record that pushed him from promising producer into a much more visible global name. Since then, tracks like “Acid,” remixes tied to MEDUZA, and appearances at places like Hï Ibiza and Studio 338 have helped position him inside that bigger international melodic-techno circuit. What gives GENESI traction is that the sound feels built for large rooms and festival moments, but still rooted enough in groove and tension to work beyond pure spectacle.
