Peruvian born and Phoenix based DJ and producer Gio Lucca has emerged as a notable figure in the contemporary tech house and minimal scenes. His production style balances precision with personality, often incorporating analog synths and funk influenced grooves that bridge the gap between underground club sounds and broader dancefloor appeal. Key releases include Dat Girl on Black Label, Her on Short Circuit, and No Excuses, which have earned support from industry selectors such as Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, and Marco Carola. Beyond his studio work, he manages his own imprint ISO and maintains a consistent touring schedule at venues like Floyd Miami and Spybar Chicago. Lucca stands out for his ability to craft infectious, rhythm forward tracks that maintain a distinct sense of character while remaining functional for peak time club environments.
