Brooklyn-based veteran delivering raw techno and deep house with tension and restraint.

Born in Texas and based in Brooklyn, DJ and producer Henry Chow has spent nearly three decades embedded in the American underground electronic music circuit. Known for a raw and mood-driven approach to techno and house, his sound relies heavily on tension, groove, and restraint. Chow first established his production footprint in the early 2000s with releases like the Ante Zenit 21 EP on Marco Carola's Zenit imprint in 2003 and the Form of Funk EP on Masterplan Music in 2005, alongside later remix work for Harmonious Discord and Thoughtless Music. In Houston, he co-founded the long-running Crossroads event series, which he later re-established in New York City at venues like TBA Brooklyn while also co-creating the Mizz Softee collective alongside Samuel Fish. His recent itinerary includes regular appearances at The Great Beyond festival, sets on The Lot Radio, and club dates at Public Records and Flash in Washington DC. Grounded in vinyl culture and late-night pacing, Chow remains a vital connective force between regional techno histories and the modern Brooklyn warehouse landscape.
