HI-LO is the techno alias of Dutch producer Oliver Heldens, launched in 2015 as an outlet for a heavier, club focused sound distinct from his mainstream house work. Based in Rotterdam, Netherlands, the project trades in peak-time techno built on driving rhythms, spacious atmospheres, and raw energy suited to both warehouses and festival main stages. Signature tracks Zeus and Kronos helped earn him the title of most-supported producer across all genres on 1001Tracklists in 2020, and his catalog spans Drumcode, Filth on Acid, and his own HILOMATIK label, alongside collaborations with Green Velvet, Armin van Buuren, Eli Brown, ZHU, and Kasablanca. He has headlined Ultra RESISTANCE, EDC Las Vegas, Tomorrowland, CRSSD, Factory 93, and The Warehouse Project, where his sets balance peak-time intensity with long form progression. A decade in, HI-LO has become one of the defining names in modern techno, a reliable draw whenever a lineup calls for weight and momentum.
