Iñigo Vontier is a Mexican DJ and producer, rooted in Monterrey and Guadalajara, who has helped define a new wave of Mexican electronic music. He runs Calypso Records and the Calypso Cvlt parties, and his own productions move through cosmic, coldwave-tinged textures, rough-edged techno, house, disco, and EBM. His releases have landed on international labels including Turbo Recordings, Correspondant, Lumiere Noire, Her Majesty's Ship, and My Favorite Robot. A leading figure in the Latin American underground, he brings an eclectic, dancefloor-driven sensibility to his sets. His work bridges Mexico City and Guadalajara's thriving scenes with the wider global club circuit.
