Jacob Meehan is a Chicago-raised DJ, producer, and cultural engineer now based in Berlin and Los Angeles. His sound blends the soulful groove of American house with the untamed edge of Berlin, incorporating elements of techno, disco, and ambient. Meehan's productions, including "Hier" on Major Records and "Old Reliable" on Nervous Records, translate decades of club experience into tracks that navigate darker, driving forms and moments of release. He is a vital figure in queer nightlife, co-curating Buttons and WHOLE Festival, where he also curates the ambient stage. His recent "Mini Revelations" EP, released in April 2026 on his Gay Groove Records imprint, signals a focused emergence as a producer. Meehan's practice is grounded in a dancer's perspective, shaping transformative spaces where rhythm, connection, and liberation intertwine.
