Based in the New York City area, Jake From State Pharm operates as a DJ and event curator with a focus on groove-led dance music. He grew up in Hoboken, New Jersey, and has since become a fixture in the Brooklyn club circuit, frequently performing at venues such as TBA Brooklyn, Hell Phone, and Dead Letter No. 9. His sets draw from a wide palette of house, disco, and percussive rhythms, often incorporating elements of Afro and Latin music to maintain a high-energy atmosphere. Beyond his club work, he has performed at Burning Man and remains active in the local community through various collaborative projects. He stands out as a dedicated selector who prioritizes the social and communal aspects of dance music over rigid genre boundaries.
