Experimental techno selector spinning EBM, electro and rave-charged, industrial-edged sets

JASSS is the recording and performance name of Silvia Jimenez Alvarez, a Spanish producer and DJ raised on the northern coast of Asturias who relocated to Berlin in 2011. She built her reputation through raw, unpredictable sets and productions that fuse experimental techno, EBM, electro, industrial textures and rave-era breakbeats. Her debut album Weightless arrived on Gothenburg's iDEAL Recordings in 2017, followed by the Whities 027 EP on AD 93 in 2020 and the vocal-forward album A World Of Service on Berghain's Ostgut Ton in 2021. She holds a residency at Berghain's Saule via Mannequin Records and has performed at Boiler Room, Dekmantel, Sonar, Primavera Sound and Mutek. Booked through Futura Artists, she remains one of the more distinctive and boundary-pushing voices in contemporary club music, equally at home behind the decks or performing live.
