Jayda G is a Canadian DJ, producer, and vocalist from Grand Forks, British Columbia, who came up through the Vancouver scene, co-founded the Freakout Cult label with DJ Fett of Sex Tags, and later based herself in Europe. Her sound sits where house meets disco, soul, and funk, with an environmental toxicology background that surfaces in her album themes. She released her debut album Significant Changes on Ninja Tune in 2019, followed the single Both Of Us in 2020, which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Recording, and delivered the personal, vocal-led album Guy on Ninja Tune in 2023, with new singles All Day and Forever Now arriving in 2026. Her live credentials include the widely shared Boiler Room x Dekmantel Festival set in 2017, a Boiler Room London session with Apple Music, festival dates at Glastonbury and Melt, and a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in 2026. Known for dancing as hard as her crowd behind the decks, she remains one of the most joyful, soul-first house selectors on the festival circuit.
