Jonas Blue is the stage name of London producer, DJ and songwriter Guy James Robin, who broke through in 2015 with a tropical house reworking of Tracy Chapman's Fast Car featuring Dakota on Positiva / Virgin EMI. He followed it with Perfect Strangers featuring JP Cooper (2016), Mama featuring William Singe (2017) and Rise featuring Jack & Jack (2018), collected on his debut album Blue (2018, Positiva), and Fast Car earned two Brit Award nominations in 2017. His catalogue is built on guest vocalists, from What I Like About You featuring Theresa Rex (2019) to the recent singles Madan with Salif Keita and Edge of Desire (both 2026). He is a fixture of festival main stages, with a Creamfields DJ set in 2023 broadcast by Beatport, a SLAM! set in 2021, a Together At Home livestream from his London studio in 2020 and the mix compilation Electronic Nature: The Mix 2017. His pairing of radio-ready songwriting with sun-soaked house production has built a large global streaming audience and a lasting place on festival bills.
