UK garage pioneer delivering bass-heavy, genre-bending sets.

Peter O'Grady, known as Joy Orbison, is a producer and DJ based in London, England, whose sound bridges UK garage, dubstep, house, and techno. He first gained widespread underground recognition with his 2009 debut single "Hyph Mngo" on Hotflush Recordings, a track that helped define the post dubstep era. Over the years, O'Grady has maintained a prolific output, releasing club staples like the 2011 Boddika collaboration "Swims" on Swamp81 and the 2024 crossover hit "flight fm" via XL Recordings. He cofounded the Hinge Finger label with Will Bankhead and has held residencies at London club night Just For You and the Manchester party meandyou. Beyond traditional club spaces, he hosts the fictional radio station Still Slipping Los Santos in Grand Theft Auto Online and recently issued the 2025 solo single "play it again". Joy Orbison has spent years reshaping the language of UK club music, making records that feel understated but deeply influential, with a sense of rhythm and mood that changed how a whole generation approached bass, house, and beyond.
