Hypnotic techno powerhouse, shaping Tbilisi's underground rave scene.

Giorgi Kancheli is a Georgian electronic music producer and a resident DJ at Bassiani in Tbilisi, a city whose club culture he significantly helped shape. Emerging from Tbilisi's 90s scene, Kancheli's musical journey began with percussion before transitioning into electronic music over fifteen years ago. His sound blends classic techno and trance with modern rhythms, creating dynamic and hypnotic sets. Kancheli released his debut solo EP, "Earthshaketrance," on Bassiani Records in May 2020. He has performed at respected international venues and festivals including Berghain, Robert Johnson, Shelter, Dimensions, CTM Festival, Wire Festival in New York City, and RSO.BERLIN in Berlin.
