Composed of Omri Malka and Gabriele Falanga, Kimonos are a Los Angeles-based DJ and production duo specializing in deep house and techno. Malka, originally from Tel Aviv, and Falanga, hailing from Italy, merged their diverse backgrounds to craft a sound defined by rhythmic percussion and deep, immersive grooves. The pair gained significant traction with their 2019 breakout single "En Su Lugar" alongside Malone on Witty Tunes, followed by the 2020 "Ready When You Are" EP on Natura Viva and the widely supported 2021 track "Bana" featuring a BLOND:ISH edit on Abracadabra. Their touring schedule includes performances at major global events and venues such as Coachella, Burning Man, Club Space in Miami, and Pacha in Ibiza. Recently, the duo has continued to expand their international footprint with regular appearances across the Americas and Europe. By consistently bridging organic instrumentation with driving club rhythms, The Kimonos remain a reliable fixture in the modern deep house circuit.
