Yevhenii Kurylo, known as Kurilo, is a Ukrainian-born DJ and producer now based in New York. He began his musical journey at age 12 with percussion, evolving into an electronic percussionist before focusing on DJing and production. Kurilo is recognized for his colorful, modern techno, often characterized by a minimalist, deep, and driving approach with noticeable 90s influences. He frequently performs live and is a dedicated vinyl advocate, known for his sets at venues like Boiler Room in Berlin and various clubs across Europe and the United States. As a label founder, he established Etat and Tunamelt Records, and co-founded Trance Pandemic, further shaping his distinct sound. His releases, including the "Slender Machine EP" (2025) and tracks like "Ghost In The Shell" (2021), showcase a hypnotic blend of rumbling bass and spacey synths. Kurilo stands out for his commitment to a nuanced, underground sound and his active role in both production and label curation.
