David Adams, known as lil'dave, is a DJ, producer, and radio host based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose sound spans house, broken beat, afrobeat, and rare groove. As a founding member of the Illvibe Collective and cohost of the long running Eavesdrop Radio on WKDU 91.7FM, he has been a fixture in his local scene for over two decades. His production catalog includes releases on labels like BBE Records, Tru Thoughts, and Record Breakin' Music, alongside notable collaborations such as his cover of "I Love Music" featuring Lady Alma. Operating under his own name and his electronic alter ego Osage, his aesthetic blends analog warmth with club ready drum programming. Recently, he served as the inaugural resident DJ at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and composed music for the Sundance Film Festival selection "Ourika". Through his deep crates and versatile studio output, lil'dave remains a vital conduit for soulful dance music on the East Coast.
