Lolsnake is a Berlin-based Iraqi-American DJ, producer, and visual artist known for her fluid, genre-defiant approach to electronic music. Her sets weave together hypnotic techno, squishy acid, and angelic trance, characterized by careful dramaturgy and a focus on emotional escalation. As the founder of the queer platform and event series Weeeirdos, she has established a significant residency at Säule in Berlin and champions underrepresented voices in club culture. Her career includes performances at Berghain, Bassiani, and various international festivals, alongside guest mixes for platforms like Mixmag and Boiler Room. Drawing from a background in neuroscience and classical music, her sound is defined by a balance of tension, release, and cerebral, atmospheric textures.
