LORD ASA is a non-binary, queer, Vietnamese-American DJ and producer based in Brooklyn, New York. Their sound is rooted in the hardcore techno scene, drawing from a background as a pianist and music curator to weave multi-layered sets that incorporate trance, acid, and hypnotic textures. As a cofounder of Wish Records, they have been instrumental in highlighting FLINTA artists within the underground dance community. They have held a residency on The Lot Radio and performed at key venues including Bossa Nova Civic Club, Elsewhere, and Mood Ring. Their work consistently centers on the queer experience, using high-tempo mixing to create immersive and politically informed dancefloor narratives. By bridging technical precision with a commitment to underrepresented voices, they stand out as a vital force in the contemporary New York City underground.
