Adrian Nienaber operates out of Brooklyn, New York, under the alias Lovelydaze, carving out a dedicated space for UK-centric dance music in the American underground. As a DJ and producer, his sound spans from warm lo-fi house to heavy-hitting UK garage, jungle, and drum and bass. Alongside frequent collaborator SHMOOKYY, he co-founded the Brooklyn Loves UKG collective and party series, which has hosted events at notable venues like Elsewhere, Bossa Nova Civic Club, and a long-standing residency at Our Wicked Lady. His original productions, including tracks like "For The Love Of House Music" and "I Just Can't Get Over," showcase a deep appreciation for groove-driven rhythms and late-night club atmospheres. In 2025, the duo expanded their footprint by launching Brooklyn Loves Records to further push syncopated UK sounds stateside. By anchoring a dedicated community around swung beats and heavy basslines, Lovelydaze remains a vital conduit for garage and breaks culture within the New York scene.
