Madota is a DJ and production duo, Behnam and Mehran, Iranian by birth and Canadian by upbringing, now based in Berlin, Germany. Cutting their teeth in Vancouver's nightlife from 2011, they built a sound that pulls soulful, organic textures into deep, groove-led house. Their releases land on labels including Get Physical Music, Kindisch, Moodfamily and Saisons, and they have played festivals and clubs such as Garbicz, Moga, Fusion and Katerblau. Their sets weave hypnotic, emotive grooves shaped by their hyphenated cultural roots. Madota has grown into a distinctive voice in the organic and deep house circuit.
