Copenhagen-based producer driving the global UK garage and speed garage revival.

Main Phase is the alias of Copenhagen, Denmark native Adam Emil Schierbeck, a producer and DJ who has become a central figure in the modern UK garage and bass music revival. He debuted the project in 2020 with releases on the Bristol label ec2a and has since built a prolific catalog across imprints like Shall Not Fade, Time Is Now Records, and Warehouse Rave. Alongside frequent collaborator Interplanetary Criminal, Schierbeck co-founded ATW Records, releasing joint tracks like "Twizted" and curating compilations that push the boundaries of speed garage and two-step. His sound blends dark atmospheric textures, heavy low-end frequencies, and infectious swing, drawing heavily from jungle, dubstep, and dub techno. A regular fixture on Rinse FM and NTS, he maintains a rigorous international touring schedule with recent appearances at Boiler Room London, The Warehouse Project, and HARD Summer. By mastering a distinctly British sound from a Scandinavian base, Main Phase proves that the current underground garage resurgence is a truly global movement.
